We're looking for enthusiastic and friendly volunteers to join our team as Event Assistants/Stewards for our "Spring Forward" community event on 12th April.

About the Role: We're looking for enthusiastic and friendly volunteers to join our team as Event Assistants/Stewards for our "Spring Forward" community event. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the event runs smoothly and that attendees have a positive and enjoyable experience. This is a great opportunity to be part of a vibrant community celebration and contribute to a memorable day! Responsibilities: ● Welcoming and Guiding Attendees: Greet visitors with a smile, provide event information, and direct them to various activity areas. ● Providing Information: Answer questions about the event schedule, workshops, plant sale, performances, and exhibitions. ● Assisting with Logistics: Help set up and break down event areas, manage queues, and ensure spaces are clean and tidy. ● Ensuring Safety and Accessibility: Monitor event areas for safety, assist attendees with accessibility needs, and provide support as required. ● Supporting Activity Leaders: Assist workshop facilitators, performance artists, and other activity leaders as needed. ● Being a friendly and helpful presence throughout the day.

● Morning shift: 11:30 AM - 4:00 PM (free lunch) ● Afternoon shift: 3:30 PM - 8:00 PM (free dinner) ● All day: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM (free lunch and dinner)
