Your guidance could empower children and adults to thrive in the digital age. You will teach essential digital skills such as using apps, browsing safely, and creating documents. Lessons for small groups take place online on Thursday evenings. You will be provided with lesson plans, online resources and support.

Your guidance could empower children and adults to thrive in the digital age. Computing and Programming Academy CIC is seeking enthusiastic individuals to teach computing skills online to children and adults. Your lessons will help learners navigate technology confidently and effectively. You will use lesson plans from the Oak website (www.thenational.academy) and other online sources, and will also receive support from our Director. As a volunteer you will: ● Plan and deliver computing lessons tailored to beginners. ● Teach essential digital skills, such as using apps, browsing safely, and creating documents. ● Foster confidence and independence in using technology. ● Monitor learners’ progress and provide constructive feedback. Classes take place online each week. Lesson schedules: Children: Thursdays, 6pm-7pm Adults: Thursdays, 7:15pm-8:15pm Small class sizes vary between 1 and 3 people.

Ideally you will teach one or two lessons regularly every week. Lessons are for 1 hour, on Thursday evenings, plus some preparation time. We also need some volunteers to be in our 'volunteer bank' who could be available to teach a class at fairly short notice if the regular volunteer is unable to do it.
