By volunteering, you’ll directly contribute to empowering individuals on their journey towards self-employment. Working Well Trust is an employment charity dedicated to empowering people experiencing mental health challenges and neurodiverse conditions to achieve their potential through meaningful employment. Our mission is to improve lives by offering emotional and practical support at every stage of their recovery and employment journey, fostering self-respect, confidence, and financial independence. About the Business & Enterprise (B&E) Advice Service Starting a business or social enterprise can be both challenging and rewarding. For clients seeking independent advice to pursue an entrepreneurial career path, the Business & Enterprise Advice Service offers expert mentoring and practical guidance to help them overcome barriers and build sustainable businesses. What You’ll Do: o Guide clients in creating tailored marketing plans to promote their businesses effectively. o Assist with creating and managing social media content to build engagement and reach. o Mentor clients on social media platform use, including content creation, scheduling, and analytics. o Assist in developing branding strategies, including logos, taglines, and visual identity. o Offer practical advice on low-cost or free marketing tools suitable for startups. o Collaborate with an experienced B&E Advisor to assess client progress and adapt support as needed. Personal Disclosure A criminal record check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required to ensure suitability for working with vulnerable adults.

Essential Criteria: • Strong understanding of marketing principles and social media platforms either through experience or formal training. • Ability to create and manage engaging digital content. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and advise. • Knowledge of low-cost marketing tools and strategies for entrepreneurs. • Empathy and patience when working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Desirable Criteria: • Experience in marketing, social media management, or branding. • Familiarity with marketing for small businesses or startups. • Understanding of mental health challenges and their impact. • Awareness of the challenges faced by individuals with mental health conditions or neurodiverse traits. Key Outcomes: • Enhanced client confidence in using marketing and social media tools. • Improved visibility and reach for client businesses, leading to increased customer engagement. • Development of sustainable, client-led marketing practices.

• Can be flexible based on your availability and our clients’ needs • We ask volunteers to commit to at least 4 hours every fortnight. • Flexible scheduling to suit your availability, though we do need you to be available on the occasional Monday or Thursday to liaise with the Team Lead. • We can accommodate both regular and ad-hoc volunteering hours
