Youth Club Supervisor (Volunteer) – Support and supervise children (ages 4-18) at our afterschool/youth club. Help run activities, ensure a safe and inclusive space, and promote positive engagement. About the Role: We are looking for a Youth Club Supervisor to help oversee and support children and young people at our afterschool/youth club. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about working with young people, enjoys engaging in fun activities, and wants to make a positive impact in the local community. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support children aged 4 to 18 years during club sessions. Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all participants. Encourage positive behaviour and conflict resolution where necessary. Assist in planning and delivering activities such as arts & crafts, games, sports, and educational workshops. Provide general guidance and support to young people, promoting their confidence and well-being. Work alongside other volunteers to help run smooth and structured sessions. Follow safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all children. What We’re Looking For: Someone reliable, enthusiastic, and patient. Experience working with young people (formal or informal) is beneficial but not essential. An understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training will be provided). A friendly and approachable attitude with good communication skills. Ability to commit to at least one evening per week (Mondays). A current DBS check (or willingness to apply for one, which we can arrange). What You’ll Gain: The opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of local children. Time Commitment

🕒 Regular Commitment: 3 hours per week on Mondays (4:00 PM – 7:00 PM). ⏳ School Holidays & Half-Terms: May increase to up to 7 hours per week to support additional activities. We appreciate any time you can give, and as the club grows, there may be more opportunities to get involved. Flexible volunteering options available!
