Friends of Aspen Court
Aspen Court Care Home is a 75-bed care home in Poplar offering dementia, nursing and end-of-life care to older people. The Friends of Aspen Court are looking for volunteer Befrienders to enhance residents' quality of life. We are looking for volunteers who can visit and interact with a resident through a range of activities, for example reading, writing letters, chatting, music, baking, cooking, gardening, playing games, or accompanying residents on trips out.

We are looking for volunteers who can visit and interact with a resident via a range of activities selected by mutual agreement. As a Befriender you will: • provide regular and reliable visits and befriending. • carry out a selection of activities, for example reading, writing letters, chatting, music, baking, cooking, gardening, playing games, or accompanying residents on trips out.
