Gasworks Dock Partnership is a registered charity and social enterprise formed to act as a vehicle for the community led regeneration of Cody Dock and our local waterways. We need 2 DIY volunteers on Sunday, February 16th, to help us give the Volunteer Hub a makeover!
Gasworks Dock Partnership is a registered charity and social enterprise formed to act as a vehicle for the community led regeneration of Cody Dock and our local waterways. We need 2 volunteers on Sunday, February 16th, to help us give the Volunteer Hub a makeover! We're completely redoing the space with practical solutions for storage and a small kitchen area. We decluttered the container a few months ago, and now it's time for phase 2: painting the walls and ceiling, and reviving storage units. Tasks will include: • Prep: Emptying the space, light sanding of the walls (if needed), sanding the wooden shelving, etc. • Painting walls and the ceiling (may involve working from a bench) • Oiling the shelving unit • Tidy up at the end of the session If you are interested in helping us out do register interest in the role and we will send you more details about the day.
