About Read Easy Imagine being unable to read a medicine label, a bus timetable, or a note from your child’s school. For many adults across the UK, this is a daily reality. At Read Easy, we provide free, confidential, one-to-one coaching that transforms lives by giving adults the gift of reading. With a network of dedicated volunteers, we’re helping people open doors to new opportunities, greater independence, and brighter futures. The Role: Publicity Organiser Do you enjoy getting creative with words, images, and ideas? Are you someone who loves spreading the word about causes that matter? We’re looking for a Publicity Organiser to help shine a spotlight on our work. By raising awareness in the community, you’ll play a vital role in connecting adults who need our support with the life-changing help we offer. Working alongside our friendly Referrals Networker, you’ll help tell powerful stories, design engaging content, and make sure Read Easy’s message is seen and heard. What You’ll Be Doing • Designing and sharing eye-catching publicity materials (posters, flyers, social media posts, press releases). • Keeping our online presence active and welcoming (Facebook, website, local forums). • Helping promote events, campaigns, and community activities that celebrate reading. • Supporting outreach by preparing presentations and resources that inspire others to join us. • Monitoring engagement and impact, so we know what’s working and can grow even further. Time Commitment

This position is flexible and can mainly be done at times that suit you. Between 2 to 3 hours a week depending on how much time you can spare. This role is performed online with a MS 365 Office account, role email and using MS Teams the telephone and text.
