Support individuals with learning disabilities to go swimming.

Detailed Description

Support and encourage individuals with learning disabilities and mobility issues to go swimming at least once a week. You will be helping to improve both their physical and mental health and enjoy a swim. You will travel with the person to and from the pool, enjoy a chat and be positive about the activity. You will need to be a good swimmer for this role as you would be swimming in the pool with the individual. A support worker will be in attendance to assist with travel, changing, showering etc, but they will not be going into the pool. - you will not be asked to help with personal care or finances.
