We’re seeking a reliable and organised volunteer Board Secretary to support our charity’s board with meeting coordination and documentation.

Detailed Description

Job Summary We’re looking for a kind, organised person to join us as our Board Secretary. This important role helps our charity stay organised and run smoothly so that we can keep helping families. As Board Secretary, you’ll support our board of directors by keeping track of meeting notes, planning our board calendar, and making sure we follow all the rules. If you’re great at organising, have a mature attitude, and at least 3 years of relevant experience, we’d love to have you on our team making a real difference! Key Responsibilities - Meeting Support: Help schedule and set up meetings for our board, including sending reminders to board members and preparing meeting notes. - Take Notes: During meetings, take clear, easy-to-understand notes on what’s discussed and decided. - Organise Documents: Keep all important board documents neat, organised, and ready for board members to access. - Guide our Team: Ensure the board follows rules and procedures that help us support our community safely and effectively. - Record-Keeping: Maintain up-to-date information, like board member contact details and meeting schedules.
