Workshop Support Volunteer

We are hosting a 6-week workshop series designed to help parents rediscover their sense of self through coaching and therapeutic art. The program offers support for parents who feel overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life, helping them restore balance and purpose. We are seeking friendly, compassionate volunteers to assist with the workshops and provide a welcoming environment for participants. Detailed Description

Location: Hoxton, N1 Time Commitment: Mondays, 10 AM – 1 PM, from 7th Nov to 16th Dec Duration: 6-week program (3 hours per session) We are running a 6-week workshop series that focuses on empowering parents to rediscover their sense of self through coaching and therapeutic art. This program helps parents manage the overwhelming demands of parenthood and provides tools to restore balance and purpose in their lives. We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate volunteers to support the smooth running of these sessions. If you’re passionate about personal growth, creativity, and supporting parents, we’d love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Workshop Setup & Pack Down: Help set up the workshop space before the session begins and assist in packing away materials and equipment afterward. Participant Support: Welcome parents as they arrive, provide a friendly, supportive presence during the workshop, and help participants with any materials or questions. Refreshments Management: Prepare and serve light refreshments during break times, ensuring all dietary requirements are considered. General Assistance: Assist the facilitator in handing out materials, supporting group activities, and providing help as needed throughout the session. Record Keeping: Help maintain attendance records and ensure feedback forms are collected at the end of each session. Skills & Qualifications: Empathy and Good Communication Skills: Comfortable engaging with diverse groups of parents, offering emotional support, and helping participants feel at ease. Organizational Skills: Ability to assist with setup, pack-down, and ensure sessions run smoothly. Interest in Personal Growth or Therapeutic Practices: A passion for self-care, creative arts, or therapeutic methods is a plus. Reliability: Ability to commit to the full 6-week program and arrive on time for each session. Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with facilitators and other volunteers to create a positive and inclusive environment. Time Commitment

3.5 hours weekly for 6 weeks. Must be able to commit to the 6 weeks due to the nature of the work.
