Job Summary: As a Web Designer at Children with Voices, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining our website, ensuring it is engaging, user-friendly, and reflective of our mission and values. You will collaborate with our team to create a digital experience that informs, inspires, and engages our community.

Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain the Children with Voices website and attend two meetings a month. - Ensure the website is visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive across all devices. - Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to integrate multimedia elements, including text, images, and videos. - Implement best practices for SEO and web accessibility. - Monitor website performance and make necessary updates and improvements. - Ensure the website reflects the charity’s brand and mission. - Troubleshoot and resolve website issues in a timely manner. - Stay updated with the latest web design trends, technologies, and best practices. Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role. - Strong portfolio showcasing web design projects. - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web design tools and technologies. - Experience with content management systems (CMS), preferably WordPress. - Understanding of SEO principles and web accessibility standards. - Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Desirable: - Experience working with non-profits or children-focused organisations. - Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and photography.
