Clapton Commons was set up in 2013 by a small group of neighbours with the shared aim of improving their local neighbourhood for the common good of all residents. We are looking for volunteers to support guests with extra needs at our warm welcome sessions.
Clapton Commons was set up in 2013 by a small group of neighbours with the shared aim of improving their local neighbourhood for the common good of all residents. This role is an opportunity to come alongside some of the guests in Warm Welcome, supporting them with feeling safe and welcome in the space. A few of our guests struggle with physical disabilities and social anxiety. We are looking for friendly faces who can keep a special look out for them, helping them to access the free food available and the sewing classes.
