Warm Welcome Kitchen Volunteer
Clapton Commons Community Organisation
This role is an opportunity to engage with guests and volunteers helping out in our kitchen. Make perfect cups of tea and coffee, flex your cooking skills or learn from our kitchen team, as we prepare and serve free, hot vegan food every Wednesday to local residents.
Warm Welcome is a Community run social club that runs Wednesdays 11-4 at The Common rooms, on Clapton Common E5, organised by Clapton Commons. Clapton Commons was set up in 2013 by a small group of neighbours with the shared aim of improving their local neighbourhood for the common good of all residents. This role is an opportunity to engage with guests and volunteers helping out in our kitchen. Make perfect cups of tea and coffee, flex your cooking skills or learn from our kitchen team, as we prepare and serve free, hot vegan food every Wednesday to local residents. We are looking for friendly faces who can keep a special look out for them, helping them to access the free food available and the sewing classes. You'll be supported by our fantastic team of volunteers working in the space or in the kitchen, as well as our session co-ordinator. Why not come along one Wednesday and see if this could be for you?
