Detailed Description

Trailblazers is a UK charity which provides 1:1 mentorship and practical support to people in prison and post release. Our goals are to prevent reoffending and improve outcomes for those leaving prison. Our work inspires and encourages people to change their future, rebuild their lives and make a positive impact on their community. After successfully passing through our vetting and selection process, we provide full training, mentor shadowing and a whole host of information to support you. You’ll work with your carefully matched mentee in the prison for 6 months, and up to 12 months in the community after their release. You’ll be on hand throughout this time, meeting them every week inside the prison and out. Your mentee will want to make a positive change and will be prepared to provide the hard work, courage and commitment needed.
