STROKE ASSOCIATION

Stroke Association supports people to rebuild their lives after a stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after a stroke. We are recruiting for a Community Connector volunteers. Within the role, you will be making links in your community and helping to raise awareness of stroke, and how to reduce the risk of stroke.

Detailed Description

Stroke Association supports people to rebuild their lives after a stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after a stroke. We provide specialist support, fund critical research and campaign to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support to rebuild their lives. We are recruiting for a Community Connector volunteers. Within the role, you will be making links in your community and helping to raise awareness of stroke, and how to reduce the risk of stroke. By making links and promoting the Stroke Association you will be helping people to understand about stroke, the impact of stroke on lives and enhancing support for stroke survivors and carers. You may be attending an Awareness Day, delivering a presentation, meeting other volunteer groups and businesses, promoting our resources, helping to support delivery of a presentation about stroke.

Basic IT skills - internet & email, Good IT Skills, Organising & Planning
