We are looking for volunteers to support with our children's play activities in Dalston. This role is avaliable for women only.
Happy Baby Community is a charity working in Greater London with pregnant and new mothers who are also seeking asylum. We've grown a strong programme of doula and perinatal support. The families we work with face extreme challenges and vulnerability. The excellent care of doulas gives them comfort that they can't find anywhere else, plus measurably improved perinatal outcomes. We are looking for volunteers to support with our children's play activities. This role is avaliable for women only. We have a wide array of toys and activities available for our babies to engage with. It’s a joy to see them sing, draw and play with each other, and so important for their socialisation. Volunteers will be on hand to care for our babies whilst the parents get the opportunity to take part in other activities.
