Off The Record Twickenham

Help us at upcoming events in November and December by collecting donations - we're looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers willing to give a few hours on evenings/weekends.

Detailed Description

Volunteer with Off the Record Twickenham: help us raise funds at local events Off the Record Twickenham is a charity providing free, confidential counselling and support to young people in Richmond upon Thames. We're looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help us at upcoming events in November and December by collecting donations. What you'll be doing - Collecting donations from the public at community events - Being a friendly face for the charity and saying thank you to everyone who gives - Sharing a little about what we do if people ask (we'll give you everything you need to know) What we're looking for - Someone approachable, reliable and happy to chat with people - No experience needed. We'll give you a short briefing and all the materials on the day - Aged 18+ Details: When: A couple of hours on: Saturday 14th November 11-3pm Friday 20th November 3-7pm Where: Twickenham (various locations) Training and support: a short briefing before each event, plus a named contact on the day Why get involved? Every pound collected helps young people in our community get the support they need, when they need it. It's a flexible way to give a few hours and make a real difference, and you'll meet other local people who care about young people's wellbeing. Interested?
