Trustee, The Friends of Richmond Park
The Friends of Richmond Park
The Friends of Richmond Park is a charity founded in 1961 and dedicated to the conservation and protection of Richmond Park, its peace and natural beauty for the benefit of the public and future generations. Membership is £10 a year for individuals and £15 for households
With more than 3,000 members, the Friends continue to protect and enhance the Park through the scale of our volunteering activities, the campaigns we lead and the funds we raise to support conservation projects. We are seeking additional trustees to lead and manage the charity. Trustees typically lead on one or more activities of the Friends and we are particularly interested in individuals willing to; run our own events; organise monitoring of Park events and activities to assess their impact on the Park environment; develop and run a programme of nature lead walks or other activities for families to explore and appreciate this special Nature Reserve; develop our communications especially our website.
