We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our Box Office team and help provide a warm welcome to our audiences and visitors. Whether you’re looking to gain experience, develop new skills, or simply support your local arts centre, we’d love to hear from you.

Detailed Description

An opportunity to work in the Arts Sector helping to grow a popular local theatre and community hub that sits at the heart of the Barnes community. You will be part of a supportive and dynamic team who value initiative and collaborative working. As a Volunteer Box Office Assistant, you will play an important part in the day-to-day running of the Arts Centre. You’ll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, providing excellent service while supporting the management team with administrative tasks and helping to promote the Centre’s membership programme. Hours 10-2pm set day each week. Key Responsibilities • Greeting visitors and providing a friendly, professional welcome. • Answering telephone enquiries and assisting customers with ticket bookings. • Processing ticket sales in person and online. • Promoting and selling OSO Arts Centre memberships, explaining the benefits to customers. • Responding to customer queries and providing information about events and performances. • Supporting the management team with general administrative duties.
