SEEN
Help SEEN provide more culturally sensitive support to people experiencing pregnancy and baby loss. As a Guest Speaker Volunteer, you'll share insights from your faith, culture, or community during a one-off volunteer training session, helping our team better understand different perspectives on grief, loss, and support. No previous speaking experience is required, just a willingness to share your knowledge in a relaxed and respectful setting.
SEEN is seeking volunteers from diverse faiths, cultures, and communities to contribute to a one-off learning session for our volunteer team. SEEN supports individuals experiencing pregnancy and baby loss through free counselling and listening services. We are committed to providing compassionate support that is culturally sensitive and respectful of each person's beliefs and background. As a Guest Speaker Volunteer, you will share insights from your faith, culture, or community to help our volunteers better understand perspectives on grief, loss, mourning practices, family dynamics, and sources of support. What is involved: Attend a one-off training session with SEEN volunteers. Share your experiences and knowledge in an informal and conversational way. Offer insights into cultural or faith perspectives on grief and loss. Answer questions from 15 volunteers in a respectful discussion setting. Contribute approximately 15-20 minutes of sharing.
