Volunteer Dietitian / Nutritionist with Teaching Skills for an innovative local community project

Detailed Description

Eating for Better Health (EBH) acts as a platform to promote healthier nutritional awareness for health professionals and the public using talks and hands-on cooking events. We are currently running six 5-week courses during 2026 and 2027 for targeted members of the public after successfully being awarded Lottery Funding to support these innovative community events (refer to website for more information). We are a small, friendly and enthusiastic team and we now wish to consider our next steps. We are looking for someone who has teaching skills and awareness of the science of healthy eating to help in the delivery and planning of current and future courses.

Our ideal candidate will have a background in food science and be willing to engage in teaching and demonstrating to small and large groups

Currently our public courses are based in a nutrition lab at St Mary's University in Twickenham, and in various venues for the workshops for health care professionals.

33 bus, and local train stations: Strawberry Hill, Teddington and Twickenham.
