Making hand made cards for care home residents feeling lonely and isolated.
You can choose one or more of the role activities: 1. Creating hand made cards monthly at home or in a group. 2. Writing short messages or poems inside the cards. 3. Delivering cards to a designated nearby care home* (This role requires the volunteer to complete an application form and provide details of 2 referees who we can contact for references.)

Enjoy making arts and crafts and being creative Or, enjoy getting out in your community and you'd like to make a difference by delivering finished cards to a designated nearby care home - a great way to get involved if you're not so keen on making cards. Be reliable and trustworthy and be well organised
The satisfaction of knowing that you are making a big difference in the life of a vulnerable person in your community. Valuable experience of volunteering.
