The Real Junk Food Project - Server 11:30-2pm @ The Cambrian Community Centre in Richmond.
Would you like to be part of a team that helps to reduce food waste and provides healthy low cost food to your local community? The Real Junk Food Project are looking for a volunteer to help during service at the Cambrian Centre Community Cafe on Wednesday lunchtimes from 11:30-2pm. You may be serving customers meals or helping to clear tables and doing a bit of washing up You will be joining a dynamic team that create and serve healthy lunches for 50-70 guests per session, creating dishes from the food donations that arrive that morning. This is food that is rescued from the supermarkets and other local businesses that would otherwise have gone to waste. Our community cafes operate on a Pay As You Feel Basis and are open to all members of our community.
