Purpose of Role To provide practical and emotional support to vulnerable adults living in supported housing, helping them maintain their tenancy, access community services, reduce isolation, and improve wellbeing.
Volunteer Duties Befriending and social inclusion support Accompanying tenants to community activities Assisting tenants to access local services Helping tenants complete simple forms Supporting tenants with shopping and budgeting skills Encouraging attendance at appointments Assisting with move-in and settling-in activities Supporting participation in education, training or employment opportunities Promoting independence and confidence Volunteers Will Not Administer medication Provide personal care Deliver clinical or therapeutic interventions Handle tenant finances Undertake safeguarding investigations Time Commitment Flexible (minimum 2 hours per week)
