Having an enthusiastic support team makes such a difference to those taking part, giving them a boost by cheering them on or welcoming them to our runners’ reception at the end of the race.
Cheer Point Volunteer - clap, shout and cheer-on our runners at one of our cheer points! One of our cheer point is located at the Holiday Inn Express, Limehouse (mile 14 and 21) and details for the other will be released soon. Start and finish times will vary depending on the shift you are given but could be 10:30am to 3:30pm or 2pm to 7pm (these are approximate timings) Post-Race Runner Reception Volunteer: get ready for a champion’s welcome and register runners and meet their families at The Dilly hotel. You will be celebrating the runner and providing information and assistance with food, showers, photos and massages. Start and finish times will vary depending on the shift you are given but could be 11:30am to 4:30pm, 1pm to 6pm, or 3:30pm to 8:30pm (these are approximate timings) Exact timings and details for each role will be sent out to in a separate brief, but all are within the parameters of 10am-8pm. All timings are flexible and we can work with you to make sure that the timings work best with your own schedule.
