Why these skills are required

All we ask is that our Youth Volunteering Facilitators enjoy working with children and are reliable, helpful, kind and enthusiastic! It’s great if Youth Volunteering Facilitators have a skill / enjoy doing activities like arts and crafts, cooking and baking, gardening, sewing, creative writing, woodwork/DIY that is useful to TimeGivers, but it is not a requirement! Most of our volunteering activities last between 1 hour and 3 hours, and Youth Volunteering Facilitators will be on their feet for a lot of the time, so a reasonable level of fitness is needed.
