Become a volunteer mentor and walk alongside young people dealing with a variety of issues affecting their mental health and wellbeing.
We are looking for people who are passionate about walking alongside young people who are struggling. You would be trained in using our Therapeutic Mentoring Programme, local authority Safeguarding training (to Level 2), and receiving ongoing Continued Professional Development in a variety of mental health issues affecting young people.

Listening, empathy, good communication skills, not scared of a computer, ability to write session notes (an easily learned skill), a heart for young people.
Learning how to mentor, safeguarding training, report writing, being there for a young person when they need support, building awareness around mental health. The satisfaction of helping a young person who is struggling and seeing them begin to thrive. Being part of a fantastic team of people. Gaining certifications, including safeguarding and Continued Professional Development certifications.
Minimum three hours a week.
