Support the organisation and delivery of activity days and outings for children with complex medical needs and their siblings. Activities could include arts and crafts, sports, sensory play, and various other activities such as a trip to the Stables, Clip and Climb and Sailing.
Support the organisation and delivery of activity days and outings for children with complex medical needs and their siblings. Activities could include arts and crafts, sports, sensory play, and various other activities such as a trip to the Stables, Clip and Climb and Sailing. Role responsibilities: - Help with the set up and clearing away of activities for the day - Welcome families and children on the day - Support children with complex medical needs and their siblings with activities, either 1:1 or in a group depending on the needs of the children attending - Participate in a briefing and de-briefing before and after the day - Undertake The Maypole Project initial training (2 hours) - Follow The Maypole Project policies and guidelines at all times whilst volunteering

Our holiday activities and outings take place in school holidays and during half-terms. Trips could be a half day or one full day. We ask our volunteers to commit to as many days if possible.
