Civilian Committee member
Air Training Corps (228 Squadron) - Bromley
Each Air Training Squadron has a civilian welfare committee which provides support with fundraising and welfare issues.
By devoting just a few hours each month as a member of the Civilian Committee, you will be involved in fundraising, controlling and accounting for non-public funds, and giving advice to the Officer Commanding on welfare issues for cadets and staff. You will also be providing a means of ensuring the Squadron's views are represented properly at higher levels, as well as fostering the unit's profile in the local community.

No specific qualifications are needed. We are looking for adult volunteers who care enough about young people to give a few hours of their time to help them in a uniformed cadet service which is second to none. Your role will be as part of a team of like minded individuals. We are looking for committee members to be representative of the local community and you will be a valued addition to our team.
Although this is not an onerous task, it is an important one. Helping the Squadron develop cadets is highly rewarding and worthwhile.
The Committee meets once per term (three times a year). Members are also welcome to visit Squadron parade evenings and activities to offer support and encouragement to the cadets and adult volunteers.
