Detailed Description

The League of Friends of Teddington Memorial Hospital is a charity committed to supporting Teddington Memorial Hospital through fundraising, volunteering, and advocacy. We work tirelessly to provide essential equipment and improve facilities, above NHS funding, that benefit patients, staff and the local community. The Trustee role • Impact: directly influence the strategic direct of our charity. • Community: be part of a passionate and dedicated team. • Growth: Develop your skills and gain valuable experience. • Fulfilment: Make a tangible difference in the lives of patients and their families, and by extension the local community. What we’re looking for • Commitment to the charity’s goals and values. • Ability to contribute time and expertise to board meetings and activities. • Experience in areas such as fundraising or governance is desirable but optional. Your role • Attend and actively participate in monthly board meetings. • Provide strategic direction and oversight. • Support fundraising initiatives and community outreach. • Ensure the charity operates within its articles and meets legal requirements. Time commitment • Monthly board meetings: attendance at monthly board meetings on a Monday evenings at 7.30 pm. • AGM: attendance at the Annual General Meeting. • Support for activities: up to 4 hours a week, plus attendance at occasional events.
