Trustees are responsible for the long term strategy of the Nursery, working alongside our professional and skilled staff to look after and help develop the children in our care.
Threshers Day Nursery is a registered charity based in St Mary Cray, with a Board of volunteer Trustees responsible for the long term strategy of the Nursery, working alongside our professional and skilled staff to look after and help develop the children in our care. What will you do? • Attend and contribute to meetings of the Trustee Board. • Actively contribute to our policies and strategic direction, defining goals and setting targets • Monitor performance against our business plans and financial budgets • Be an ambassador for the Nursery acting in its’ best interests at all times

What do you need to have? • Commitment and availability to attend Trustee Board meetings • Experience of working in a team and ability to think both short and long term • A commitment to the aims of the Nursery and to our children • An appreciation of the importance of both our children’s immediate welfare and our planning for the future.

How much time do you need to give? • Attend meetings held every other month, which are held at the Nursery on midweek early evenings. • Ensure you read agendas and documents ahead of all meetings so you can positively contribute and ask questions.
