Primary school maths volunteer

Number Champions

As a Number Champions Volunteer, you will work with childre in Years 2 or 3 for a weekly session in their school. Using activities, games and resources provided by Number Champions, you will help make maths enjoyable, build confidence and encourage a positive attitude towards learning. No teaching experience is required. Training, resources and ongoing support are provided.

Help a Child Count on Their Future Every child deserves the maths skills and confidence they need to reach their full potential. Yet many children struggle with numeracy during their primary school years, limiting their confidence in the classroom and beyond. Number Champions is changing that through the power of volunteers. We're looking for caring, reliable volunteers to support primary school children with maths in a local Bromley School What You'll Do: Spend around 1.5 hours a week in a primary school. Work one-to-one with a children in Years 2 or 3. Use fun games and activities provided by Number Champions. Help children build confidence, enjoyment and essential maths skills. Become part of a supportive community making a real difference. Why Volunteer? As a Number Champion, you'll help ensure that no child's future is limited by poor numeracy. The programme focuses on children who need extra support at a crucial stage in their education, helping them engage more confidently in maths lessons and develop skills for life.
