Art & Soul is looking for a Treasurer Trustee to join our board and help shape the next chapter of a creative charity with a 20+ year track record of improving mental health through the arts. This is an opportunity to use your financial skills in a meaningful way — supporting a much-valued local charity to remain financially strong, well governed and able to grow its impact at a time when mental health support is needed more than ever.

We are looking for someone with: • accounting, finance or equivalent financial management experience • confidence reviewing management accounts, budgets, cashflow and reserves • the ability to present financial information clearly and helpfully to the board • willingness to support the Chair and Programme Director on financial matters • awareness of fundraising and income generation • charity finance would be helpful, but is not essential Previous trustee or Treasurer experience is welcome, but not necessary. Support and induction will be provided.
You will be joining a thoughtful and committed board, helping to support a charity that makes a real difference through creativity, connection and care. This is a chance to contribute your professional skills in a role that is purposeful, rewarding and genuinely valued.
• Four board meetings a year, held online • Around 4–6 hours per month, including preparation and occasional support • Attendance at least one Art & Soul event each year • Opportunity to observe an initial board meeting as a guest, so both you and Art & Soul can decide whether it feels like the right fit
