Volunteer Cycle Courier
Hampton and Hampton Hill Voluntary Care Group
Ad hoc and flexible cycling role – choose deliveries (newsletters, cards, or prescriptions) in TW12 via WhatsApp when it suits your availability.
As a Volunteer Cycle Courier, you will play a key role in helping us stay connected with our registered neighbours in TW12. Using your bicycle, you will deliver newsletters, birthday cards, general communications, and occasional ad hoc items such as prescriptions. This role is entirely ad hoc and flexible – tasks are shared via a WhatsApp group, and you can simply choose to take on a delivery when it suits your availability and preference. By doing so, you’ll help ensure neighbours feel cared for, connected, and remembered.

Volunteers should be confident cycling locally, organised, and reliable. A friendly attitude and willingness to chat briefly with neighbours at the door is welcome. Must own a roadworthy bicycle and have a smartphone to access WhatsApp.
What is in it for you: A role that fits entirely around your schedule – you choose when to help. Stay active and healthy while cycling around your local area. Make a real difference by helping neighbours feel valued and remembered. Meet new people and be part of a supportive community.
Completely flexible – no set hours. Opportunities are ad hoc, shared via WhatsApp, and you can choose which to accept.
