Shooting Star Children's Hospices

This Volunteer role is to support Shooting Star Children’s Hospices with videography work, whether that’s assisting with video production (e.g. filming family case studies), or attending events to capture video content that will be used across our digital platforms.

Detailed Description

This Volunteer role is to support Shooting Star Children’s Hospices with videography work, whether that’s assisting with video production (e.g. filming family case studies), or attending events to capture video content that will be used across our digital platforms. Volunteers need to have access to their own filming equipment, and to be able to produce high resolution video footage. It would be helpful to have previous experience as a videographer (with a portfolio). Responsibilities Work to a brief, capturing video content Assist with video production (e.g. family case studies) Attend fundraising and hospice events as and when needed to capture high-quality video footage that will be used as b-roll footage or part of a larger video Process and deliver all video content within an agreed timeframe Follow charity safeguarding process – ensuring deletion of images on devices once shared

Videography experience, either professionally or as a hobby Ability to follow a brief Experience of working independently and in a fast-paced environment Good people skills and take initiative to ensure the best shots are achieved Sensitive to the needs of children living with life-limiting conditions and their families Experience of working with children would be useful
