Woodland management for all levels of experience and ability

Detailed Description

The role is targeted at habitat improvement for the benefit of plants, wildlife and human park users. A member of a fortnightly Tuesday morning Work Group between September and July. Undertaking woodland management primarily including: * path widening * coppicing * invasive plant removal. Working as part of a team, with full instruction and equipment provided. No previous experience or knowledge needed. Suitable for all levels of fitness, the work is tailored to your abilities, including very light work such as litter picking.

Your need to be fit enough to walk on uneven ground and operate garden hand tools.

Time Commitment

One morning a fortnight except in high summer. Suits those who can't always commit to attending due to other commitments.
