Looking for a qualified hairdresser to volunteer at the PRUH in Farnborough.
To provide appropriate hairdressing treatments to patients. The hairdressing service will be provided by a qualified and experienced hairdresser as a volunteer. Please note all supplies will be provided by volunteer services.

Support the wellbeing of patients and improve their experience on the wards. Patients will receive this service free of charge To provide hair services which includes cutting, providing hair styling, washing and drying if required ( no colouring or perming)) Always be sensitive to the needs of the patients Provide the treatments in a non-judgmental way, keeping in mind specific needs of the patients Provide these treatments to both male and female patients To maintain dignity and respect of the patients at all times Permission must be given by a member of staff to provide the treatment New gloves and aprons to be worn for each patient Each patient must have own brush or comb and it will be cleaned with appropriate product afterwards
