The Real Junk Food Project - Wednesday General Volunteer @ the Cambrian Centre community café in Richmond.
Would you like to be part of a team that helps to reduce food waste and provides healthy low cost food to your local community? The Real Junk Food Project are looking for a general volunteers to join their team at the Cambrian Centre in Richmond on Wednesday lunchtimes. You will be joining a dynamic team that serve healthy lunches for ~50 guests per session using food that is rescued from the supermarkets and other local businesses that would otherwise have gone to waste. We are looking for a volunteer to help up over lunchtime from 12 - 2:15pm. You may be helpign to serve food, making teas and coffees or doing a bit of washing up. You will also be helping us to pack down the cafe after we finish serving at 13:30. Our community cafes operate on a Pay As You Feel Basis and are open to all members of our community.

This role would suit someone who enjoys engaging with the public, and working in a team.
You will be joining a friendly social team and will be giving back to your community as well as benefiting the environment.
We ask that our volunteers typically commit to at least two weeks a month.
