Our horticulture volunteers keep our outside space spruced up for everyone who uses the centre to enjoy all year round. The team digs, weed, sow, grow and harvest. These roles are great for those who enjoy gardening, nature and being outdoors. They could be particularly appealing to those who have limited access to outdoor space.

To volunteer in this role, you will need to * Be non-judgmental * Be able to work independently or as part of a team * Enjoy working outdoors * Be willing to work with CCC policies and procedures
Skills you will gain *Planning *Working to a brief *Adapting to changes *Putting ideas into practice Training All volunteers will have a face-to-face induction; this is supplemented by e learning. Volunteers are able to access a broad range of e-training on Flick Learning. For this role, we would like volunteers to complete *Equality and Diversity *Health and safety introduction *Slips, Trips and Falls *Manual handling training
