Vineyard Community Centre

Are you a whizz in the kitchen? Help us whip up delicious vegetarian meals to support our Richmond Women's Hub and Food with Faith services

Detailed Description

Every Thursday, in partnership with Life Church Richmond, we host our Food with Faith sessions. This is a time for our community to come together in religious contemplation and prayer, sing hymns and share a delicious meal. We also operate a Women’s Hub every Wednesday, a safe space of connection for local ladies to experience community and fun activities. These sessions are one of many crisis and social inclusion services run by the charity across the Borough, such as our Foodbank, Women’s Hub and Crisis Drop-In Service. Every day, we help individuals overcome personal crises and reconnect with society We are proud to have a small, commercial kitchen at Vineyard Community Centre, where we prepare meals for roughly 40 guests across our Food with Faith and Women’s Hub sessions. These services are completely free of charge for guests and aim to provide a welcoming environment and a nourishing meal during times of personal crisis. Please note that cooking will take place on a Tuesday afternoon, but will be served on a Wednesday and Thursday. As a volunteer chef, you will be integral to our services.
