Volunteer tutors (Primary and Secondary)
Arising Tutoring CIC
Volunteer with us to provide either online or face to face support to disadvantaged pupils in English, Maths, or Science.
We are looking for teachers /ex teachers/professionals who want to volunteer their time to support pupils to succeed. We take all previous experience into consideration, so please include anything you think might be relevant. Through your experiences and help, you can support, inspire, and help to make a meaningful contribution to a young person’s future. Possessing a passion for teaching/tutoring and sound knowledge in your subject area (English, Maths or Science) is essential. You will be tutoring online/ face to face for 2 hours a week during the school term. Lessons are delivered at the same time consistently each week. Volunteer with us to provide either online or face to face support to disadvantaged pupils in English, Maths, or Science. By helping them to improve their academic attainment levels, pupils will be equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to progress into further education, employment or training. By volunteering for just two hours a week you will be able to support disadvantaged pupils to improve their confidence and grades, which will allow them to access better further education and employment opportunities when they leave school. It’s a great way to give back to the community, develop interpersonal skills, improve your communication skills, meet new people and enjoy learning from other experienced teachers and tutors. We would be delighted to hear from you. Please get in touch to request an application form.
