Event drinks volunteer (with car)
The Richmond Society
The Society is looking for someone to join the team of volunteers who help make our events very special. The role involves transporting wine and soft drinks between our self-storage and where the events are being held. All locations are in central Richmond.
• To join the team of volunteers at our monthly evening talks from January to November (except June, July and August), our evening AGM & Christmas Party in December, and our afternoon Summer Garden Party in June. • The Drinks Volunteer would be involved in transporting typically 4 cases (24 bottles) of wine plus soft drinks (more for the Summer and Christmas Parties) to venues prior to an event. Then, after the event return leftover stock to storage, usually the following day, to Currie Easy Self Storage, Richmond (off the A316). • If it would be of interest, the role could also include purchasing the wine and soft drinks, restocking as appropriate. • At the events, the Events Drinks Volunteer could help the team running the bar, should they wish, and to help with clearing up afterwards.

• One evening a month from January to December (except June, July and August), and one afternoon in June, plus an hour or so moving leftover stock back to store at a time of your convenience. There could be some flexibility in this commitment. • If involved in buying wine and soft drinks, the odd additional hour or so as necessary.
