Promoting TWAM via free local websites and papers, volunteer fairs and community events through talks to churches, church groups and local community groups. You can place leaflets (with permission) in local libraries and doctors'/dentists' waiting rooms. You will be able to manage and support volunteers through regular communication, organising team meetings to create a sense of belonging and value, making sure everyone has up-to-date leaflets and ensuring everyone receives the volunteer e-news every month. You will be able to speak to potential new volunteers in your area before Ipswich approves them and will be willing to visit or contact new collectors to build friendships and support.

What is in it for you

You will work closely with the Volunteering Coordinator, and they will agree to a regular pattern of contact with you. You will receive resources from us, including a Volunteer speaker pack (updated bi-annually), a selection of leaflets, details of all your local volunteers, details of local supporting churches and groups and expenses guidelines and reimbursement. You will also receive equipment such as a projector and screen, pull-up banners, Business cards and ID Card. An Invitation to a monthly Zoom meeting with TWAM staff dedicated to the County Ambassador role In a nutshell, this is a great role for someone who likes to show initiative and who shares our passion for livelihood creation.
