Volunteer Fundraiser – Corporate Engagement

We are seeking a passionate and proactive Volunteer Fundraiser – Corporate Engagement to help us build meaningful partnerships with companies that align with our mission. This new role will focus on introducing businesses to Shepherd’s Star and encouraging them to support and engage with our Explore and Good Friday Projects - either through employee fundraising, sponsorship, corporate volunteering or financial giving. Focused on but not limited to, the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
Key Role Responsibilities Identify and research potential business partners aligned with our values and goals. - Build and manage relationships with companies to generate financial and in-kind support. - Present the Explore and Good Friday Programmes in a compelling and values-driven way to company contacts. - Support the creation of tailored partnership proposals, fundraising materials and social media content. - Working with the broader team to deliver fundraising objectives set and agreed with the board of trustees. - Working with the team to track engagement and report on the progress of fundraising initiatives to the board of trustees. - Represent Shepherd’s Star with professionalism, warmth, and integrity. Who We’re Looking For - A natural relationship-builder with strong communication skills. - Passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable people. - Comfortable engaging with business professionals and decision-makers. An existing network of relationships with potential donor companies would be highly desirable. - Previous experience in fundraising, business development, or CSR (desirable but not essential). - Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently. - Aligned with the ethos and values of Shepherd’s Star.
