Online Tutoring - Maths or Literacy

XLP stands for ‘The eXceL Project’. XLP works with over 4,000 young people each year through education, mentoring, employability, community youth work, sports and the arts. We are looking for volunteer tutors (online) to volunteer with one of our young people.
XLP stands for ‘The eXceL Project’. XLP works with over 4,000 young people each year through education, mentoring, employability, community youth work, sports and the arts. We are looking for volunteer tutors (online) to volunteer with one of our young people. Meeting weekly for 1 hour on Zoom, with a young person aged 14-18 who needs a trusted adult in their life to support them. The tutoring programme is targeted towards young people who need support with their Maths and Literacy to be able to pass their GCSEs. All our tutors are volunteers who are able to support young people in their communities. We provide 2 hours of training for all of our tutors before they are matched with a young person.

Personal growth, new perspective, life-changing, inspiring relationship with the tutee. Some of our young people can’t afford to have a tutor, so this will be a sense of giving back to the community.
