Are you ready to inspire and make a difference? Join our Education Team at Holly Lodge and help bring the wonders of nature and history to life for visitors of all abilities. Holly Lodge was founded with a heartfelt mission to make nature accessible to everyone, and we're proud that over 50% of our programs focus on SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). Our programs offer something for everyone: explore nature out on the trail, step back in time in our Victorian classroom or pharmacy, or bring smiles through our Reminiscence programs for senior citizens. Our young visitors come from mainstream schools and specialist SEND schools, and your role is at the heart of their unforgettable experiences. What we’re looking for in you: You’re patient, kind, and empathetic especially with people who have learning needs and disabilities. You are a good collaborator, reliable and punctual and you can adapt easily to unexpected changes. You have a curiosity for learning and enthusiasm that’s contagious! Whether you’re thrilled by pond dipping and invertebrate hunting alongside children, or love dressing up as historical characters, you’ll find your place here. While a teaching background is a bonus, what matters most is your ability to guide groups of children with joy and confidence. If you’re flexible, love the outdoors or history, and enjoy helping people of all ages discover the thrill of learning, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll have plenty of support to learn through shadowing programs and our thorough program plans that provide you with lots of information and further sources to pursue your own learning, if you don’t already come with some subject matter knowledge to share with us about the flora and fauna or history of Richmond Park.
