Dream Catcher Travel Foundation

Dream Catcher Travel Foundation is seeking a Volunteer Fundraiser to help us raise vital funds for respite breaks for families with disabled or life-limited children, adults with learning difficulties, and carers. You’ll support with grants, community events, and local business fundraising. Flexible, home-based role with full support provided. Make a real difference in your community!

Detailed Description

To support Dream Catcher Travel Foundation in raising vital funds through grant applications, community events, and local business engagement. This role will help us provide life-changing respite breaks for families with disabled or life-limiting children, adults with learning difficulties, and mothers who are full-time carers. Key Tasks Research and identify small grants, trusts, and fundraising opportunities. Support with drafting and submitting simple funding applications. Help plan and promote community fundraising activities (e.g. charity ball, quiz nights, sponsored walks). Reach out to local businesses for sponsorships and donations. Contribute ideas to online fundraising campaigns and appeals. Provide updates and feedback to the Founder/Trustees.

What skills are required for this role

IT Skills - good, UK Driving Licence, Fundraising

Why these skills are required

We’re looking for someone organised, reliable, and enthusiastic about making a difference. Good written and verbal communication skills are important, along with confidence to approach businesses and funders. Previous fundraising or sales experience is helpful but not essential — we provide guidance and support. A passion for helping families and carers is the most important skill.

Time Commitment
