We’re looking for a Volunteer Social Media Assistant to help us spread the word about our work and engage our amazing community online. What you’ll do: 📱 Share exciting updates, events, and opportunities across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn 🎨 Design eye-catching posts using Canva 💬 Create content that sparks conversation and builds community 📅 Keep our followers in the loop with timely and relevant updates What we’re looking for: ✅ A flair for writing engaging social media content ✅ Experience with Canva or similar design tools ✅ Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn ✅ A collaborative spirit and attention to detail ✅ Passion for our mission to support parents living in poverty Time commitment: Just 3 hours per week – flexible around your schedule!

Gaining experience and improving your CV Volunteers receive training on a range of topics relating to their role, including safeguarding (the safeguarding training, delivered online, must be undertaken during the induction period).  Support is offered by the Management Team. All new starters will undergo induction training from the Management Team and will have access to a team bbb facebook group with contact details of all volunteers. Travel expenses, and all out-of-pocket expenses, are reimbursed.  While volunteering with BBB, volunteers have full liability insurance cover.  BBB hold appreciation events to recognise the important contribution that volunteers make, as well as regular volunteer forums to share knowledge and best practice.
