Help us run our vibrant weekly lunch club which has become a lifeline for over 60's living in Kings Crescent Estate and the surrounding area.
Do you want to work with an organisation that’s building a new future for local people? Are you excited about connecting with a diverse and vibrant community in one of London’s most iconic boroughs? Welcome to the legendary Friday Lunch Club... Join us for a delicious, freshly cooked three-course meal, served with a side of bingo, great chat, and occasionally, a post-lunch dance. It’s the highlight of our week here at Hackney Showroom — and we’re looking for more people to join the Lunch Club family. We’re looking for volunteers to help make our Friday Lunch Club a warm, welcoming, and joyful space. Volunteers play a vital role in: - Welcoming guests and helping them feel at home - Serving food and drinks - Supporting with set-up, cleaning, and tidying - Creating a friendly, inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels supported We also put on an Elder's disco every term which you are welcome to join us for and help out with!

Ideally volunteers will be able to come every week/every other week in order to build up relationships with our lovely lunch club attendees. However we do understand that this isn't always possible so are please get in contact and we can discuss more flexible volunteering arrangements.
