This practical, hands-on role helps us raise vital funds in the community by collecting and managing donation tins placed across shops and venues. Tasks include: Collecting and securely counting donations (with a staff member present) Helping to maintain accurate records and issue receipts Supporting the rollout of a new Gift Aid-linked system for tin donations Why join? Minimum Skills Needed: Trustworthy and reliable β handling donations requires care and integrity Basic numeracy β for counting and recording amounts accurately Attention to detail β to help with simple paperwork and tracking Friendly and polite β when collecting tins or speaking to local shop staff Comfortable travelling locally β this role involves visiting nearby shops or venues Willing to follow procedures β especially around handling cash and Gift Aid
